I have worked with children and young people with communication difficulties since qualifying; I worked in SEND schools for 8 years, specialising in children and young people with autism, and moved to private practice in 2022. I am passionate about supporting gestalt language processors and their families, and love supporting clinicians, other professionals and families to develop their neurodiversity-affirming practice. My supervision experience began with supervising SLT students in 2018 and has developed through supervising band 5 and 6 therapists, supporting NQPs through their competencies, balancing both line management and supervision of therapists on my team, and now providing supervision for external therapists online.

Description of supervision approach:

I provide an open, non-judgemental space for therapists to share, explore, and seek support. I am happy to share from my own clinical and non-clinical experience but will encourage you to work through difficulties with my support before offering advice or potential solutions. I am flexible in my approach and love to hear how my supervisees like to be supported, therefore creating an open channel of communication where we can reflect on what is useful within supervision. I have two young children and understand the juggle of working alongside parenting, as well as all the feelings that come with this! I love to support other working parents and give them space to share and explore this time in life.
